What a year. My first full year of internet marketing and making money online. There were some definite highlights and even more lowlights. Looking forward, 2008 should be a great year to make money online. November and December of 2007 were rough months and I predict another couple of sub $100 per day months. Though I also predict some record setting daily profit averages in 2008.
The main thing I’ve learned in my first year of internet marketing is that making money online has to be a passion. It has to be something you get truly excited about. Whether it’s earning $50 per day or $1000’s per day. Without that passion to make money online the harsh wild wild west of internet marketing will spit you out and move on, like so many fallen money making comrades I’ve seen.

I’d like to blame Christmas and the holidays for another month of sub $100 per day earnings, but truthfully… Shit’s just not working out right now. I’m learning the hard way that Internet marketing is an evolving science. It’s a constant battle to stay one step ahead from the competition and the world. Just 2 months ago I was showing AdSense revenues of over $4,000 per month and virtually overnight I’m not even hitting $100 per month. I failed to adapt.
However. I have not been idle. I’ve invested my time in internet marketing forums such as WickedFire.com which I must express eternal gratitude to. New revenue streams are cultivating and 2008 looks to be a good year to make money online.

Rough month. First time in a long time where my efforts didn’t quite work and daily profit was under $100 per day. AdSense arbitrage was virtually cut in half. Google quality score issues were the main cause. Efforts with Never Blue Ads failed to show the consistent returns I was getting used to. CXDigital showed similar results as previous months but earnings with that affiliate have been minimal. If not for RocketProfit I’m not sure how I would have paid rent.

Rocket Profit Review
I haven’t been able to buy an apartment with the money I’ve made with RocketProfit.com but I have earned a steady income for about two years now.
Of all the affiliate networks I’ve tried, Rocket Profit has the most diverse set of affiliate offers which certainly makes them a network you should have in your roster. Being able to run everything from a zip / email submit or a legitimate product sale is valuable when a creative money making idea hits you at 2am.
The affiliate managers are decent. They don’t give you too much trouble when you’re “experimenting” with offers and they’re certainly there to help when you’re running ligitimate money making campaigns.
There’s a $100 minimum payment threshold, which is fairly standard these days. Payments are net 30 the following month and are typically issued by cheque, though PayPal is also an option. In two years I’ve only had 1 or 2 late payments, which isn’t too bad considering the struggles I’ve had with some other networks.
The Rocket Profit interface is decent. The affiliate offer search could be better, but the stats are reliable and easy to use which is what you’ll spend the most of your time checking out (if you’re anything like me - damn I just love to see those dollars rolling in some days).
Overall, I’ve stuck with Rocket Profit for over 2 years and will continue to do so, which must mean something as I’ve signed up and tried over 30 affiliate networks these past couple of years. Ultimately, finding an affiliate network is a lot like finding a girlfriend - you have to try a bunch of them out and eventually you’ll find one (or more) that you can work with.
