I think it’s pretty stupid to blog about how you are specifically making money online. Especially if it is easily duplicated by people with little or no knowledge of the web. Yet here I am, along with countless others, blogging about how I’m specifically making money online.
I have very little web skills, meaning, I don’t know any programming languages, I don’t know how to use photoshop, illustrator, flash or any other web development tools. In fact, I don’t even have any design talent, so even if I could build a website, it would look like crap. (this site is a great example of that).
However, what I do have is a business degree from the recently rated 27 best university in the world (University of British Columbia). More importantly though, I have one single goal, hobby, interest in life – making money. I do have a day job (well, I actually have a few day jobs), so this is not how I’m solely contributing to my net present value.
Your comments and suggestions are welcome and I hope I can inspire and possibly help you all make money online as well. It’s an amazing time in the world where someone with no specific internet specific skills can stake a claim on the World Wide Web and build a potential fortune. This must be what our forefathers experienced when they claimed free open land and built their wealth.

I’ve had a lot of help over the years in my quest to make money online, so I thought I’d finally get around to giving back a little bit of that help. Granted, I’m not going to push this site and spend a lot of time getting it out there (as that would take away from the time I’m spending actually making money online) but this info will be there for those like me who have the drive and initiative to dig and dig and dig.
In my online money making quest I’ve stumbled upon at least a dozen little blogs like this where some guy mentioned some little tactic he was using to profit online. And of those little blogs, 9 out of 10 had some internet marketing tip that actually worked and made me money. Quite a big difference from all those blogs and sites and forum posts where some dude is promising that his money making strategy will make you $100 per day, easy. Such a joke… But people are sometimes desperate to make money online and I have to give some props to those guys putting those guaranteed money making strategies together and pitching them online because they’re probably making quite a bit of money off the backs of all the desperate suckers out there.
(Yes, I’ve been a sucker before and I’ll probably be a sucker again sometime, so chill out).
The real power of making money online is capitalizing on techniques that few people are currently using. Once it’s out there for everyone to find it’s way to late. Much like the stock market. Once the average investor is aware that a stock is a good purchase, it’s most likely too late to really profit from the stock, but the average investor still puts in a buy order.
The first time I found a tiny little blog with 3-4 posts in it talking about how this guy was making money online I thought, “hey, I’ll try this out and see what happens.” Well, guess what. It worked. And it worked and it continued to work for about a year. I took the internet marketing knowledge I learned and some of the money and applied it to some of my own ideas. Some worked, most didn’t, but that’s how the game is played. Through out that time, as I said, I probably found another 10-12 different obscure blogs with solid money making strategies and I do owe a lot of my internet wealth to those blogs.
So, this is my time to pay it forward.
